Charlottesville jazz singer Tina Hashemi brings a sweet sensibility to classic jazz standards and the Great American Songbook. Her pure, unaffected tone, sense of swing, and creativity as an improviser have made her a favorite with some of the most respected musicians in the Virginia/DC area.

She will be accompanied by Ayinde Williams on piano, Jimmy Trussell on bass, and Stephan Larue drums.

Dominion Energy Jazz Café hosts free, in-person performances by some of the area’s best jazz musicians at VMFA every Wednesday in partnership with the Richmond Jazz Society.
